Below is a list of community events in which our club currently participates.

Downers Grove Heritage Festival Beer Tent
The last weekend in June, the Rotary Club of Downers Grove supports the efforts of the village of Downers Grove in their annual Heritage Festival by providing services in the beer garden serving beer and other refreshments to patrons.

Party at the Park
Held mid-summer of each year, the Rotary Club of Downers Grove hosts a fun event at Arlington Racecourse to build camaraderie within the club as well as raise funds for local and international charities.

4th of July Parade (participant)
On Independence Day, the Rotary Club of Downers Grove proudly participates in this annual event to both promote its Oktoberfest event as well as distribute water along the parade route to senior citizens.

Oktoberfest (postponed in 2009)
Our largest annual event held sometime after the weekend of Labor Day, the Rotary Club of Downers Grove hosts this memorable community event which touts authentic, live german music, delicious german cuisine and lots of refeshments for the young and old alike.

Halloween Window Painting
To be held on Saturday, October 24, 2009 :: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
